If you are in the market for a quick SD card that can take a beating, look no further. It's a very quick card which actually helps when you are trying to snap multiple pictures. It's very stable and very reliable as well. Originally my 2 year old digital camera came with a 512 stick. This is the one you need. Amazon had some incredible prices on the product so I went ahead and ordered one. I looked into upgrading to help extend the life of the camera a little bit. Took it on a trip with me and it's great.
Seems error free. Performs perfectly. Ideal SD card for the K10,K20 since it's fast enough to keep up with the continuous shutter mode, 20 mb/s.
So far the card has worked great every time. I bought this SD card a while back for my Canon IS3. I knew I couldn't go wrong with SanDisk.
All I know is @ the camera's highest settings, the card takes about 1172 pictures. Good card as far as I can tell. I didn't have the Extreme II or I so I can't compare this card to anything else really. The link to my camera is Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ4 4MP Digital Camera with 12x Image Stabilized Optical Zoom The highest resolution I can acheieve on the camera is 2304x1728. I use it with a Panasonic Lumix FZ4. I don't have a lag with snapping pictures or anything.
(camera takes about 3-4meg per pic) I have never had problems with curruption or lost data. Have had this for about 10 months. Very happy with purchase. Pretty fast download. Have used it frequently. Has a good amount of space on card in fact have never filled it up.
